A penetralia “Nageiredo” of Sanbutsuji Temple in Mt. Mitoku is said that En-no gyoja installed this penetralia into the grotto by his psychic powers and was established in the late in Heian period. It is known as the oldest main shrine-style building of existing. The entire premises in Sanbutsuji Temple is designated in the national historical places and historical sites as a mountain Buddhism ruin.
